2026 has been an exciting year for Daniel Gibson.

Most recently, Daniel completed an international engagement in Shanghai, China, starring as Nathan Leopold in Stephen Dolginoff's two person musical, Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story with C-Musicals and MSK Productions. The production marked his international professional debut and allowed him to perform for audiences in one of the world's largest and fastest-growing musical theatre markets.

The Shanghai residency spanned nearly three months, including rehearsals and performances throughout the spring. The experience brought together artists from around the globe and offered Daniel the opportunity to develop his work on an international stage while representing the next generation of American musical theatre performers abroad. Daniel is deeply grateful for the experience and looks forward to future opportunities to collaborate with C-Musicals/MSK and perform for audiences across China.

Falsettos

Daniel Gibson returns to the Vermont stage this August as Whizzer in Between the Willows' production of Falsettos at Main Street Landing in Burlington.

A landmark musical by William Finn and James Lapine, Falsettos is a funny, heartbreaking, and deeply human story about love, family, friendship, and resilience. Set in New York City at the turn of the 1980s, the show follows an unconventional chosen family as they navigate relationships, parenthood, identity, and the emerging AIDS crisis. Widely regarded as one of the most important musicals of the modern era, Falsettos remains as moving and relevant today as ever.

Performances run August 13–23, 2026 at Main Street Landing in Burlington, Vermont. Tickets are available now, with prices ranging from approximately $15–$37.
